  1. I'm no electrician, but I believe the way it works is that you can have more than is needed, just not less. In other words, as long as you have a breaker that is more than the required 50 amps, it should be good. But... if you had a trolling motor that required, say 75 amps, it would keep tripping the 60 amp breaker. I hope that makes sense, and I hope I am right, because I just bought the power center and a minn kota 45lb. trolling motor also. ?
  2. Yep, read that, was just wondering if anyone was using larger than the minimum requirement of 3” on their raiders. I’ve seen one on YouTube that used larger custom printed decals. I believe he goes by “The Mechanical Owl”. He has a lot of great looking mods on his. Thanks.
  3. Gotcha. Thanks. I finally got my registration stickers/docs in the mail from ga dnr, so I will be putting the decals on this weekend.
  4. What size letters/numbers decals is everyone using on the sides of the bow and where is the best place to get them?
  5. Yep, 1/4" luan and anti fatigue mat... It's like fishing on air. Lol. Nah... haven't had the raider out yet. But it sounded like a great KVD mattress commercial tho! It does feel good under the feet! I'm in the middle of building a cabinet for the Mrs. for her stained glass hobby by Christmas, and totally renovating my hallway and dining room/kitchen, so the mods and raider will have to be here and there for now. I am constantly getting the things I need TO mod it, but actually getting around to doing it will be a process. Happy wife, happy life. I will post more pics as I do, tho. Thanks to all.
  6. Mark P1958, nice steal. I weigh in at 205lbs., and the 1/4" is fine. The anti fatigue mat gives cushion, and together it makes the grooved raider floor unnoticeable to me. I just wanted to get rid of that groovy feeling under my feet while minimizing any extra weight by heavier lumber. For me, it works.
  7. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I was actually able to start working a little on my new raider. I started with cutting 1/4" luan plywood for the floor. I then cut and fit some anti fatigue mats over that, that I bought at Harbor Freight for $7-8. 1 set came up 1/2 a piece short, so I bought 2 sets, and used the rest in my shop. I will prime/paint the luan for water proofing, and after any/all wiring of future mods is complete, I will velcro or double side tape the flooring to secure. I do want to be able to remove it easily when needed though. Cut width of luan was 20", and cut width for mat was 21".
  8. I got my Bass Raider 10e yesterday! I have been looking at the one they have at academy sports, and it has been $599 forever. I keep waiting for it to go on sale, but it hasn't yet. I went in yesterday to get some chatterbaits, and figured I would stroll by the raider display just to be disappointed again, but there was a sign laying on the shelf next to the raider, that said "HOT DEAL" $549. So I inquired about it and it turns out that the real price was on the opposite side of the sign... $599. But since the sign said the other price, they honored it and gave it to me for $549. I told them to let me call my wife to make sure it was ok (3 guys laughing in background), and I would let them know in a minute. So I get it ok'd by the chief, and go back over there and can't find the guys I was talking to. So another guy walks up, and I explain the whole ordeal to him again, hoping he would just agree and process my request. Well he not only did honor the price as promised, but for my inconvenience of the other guys not being there when I came back, he knocked another $20 off! So I ended up getting the raider for $529 plus tax. Not too bad.
  9. Thanks dman. Do you already have that info posted?
  10. Hello to all. This is my first post, and will be purchasing a 10e soon. I am new here, but have been following a lot of posts on the bass raider mods on this forum for some time now, gearing up for next year. I was particularly interested in the rudder build/installation of dman in this pic. Not sure if that info is somewhere else, but I haven't seen it yet. I apologize if I haven't used my search engine enough.
