Been hitting some jumbo yellow perch, fishing from shore, on Roadrunners. Fishing 1/16 oz. sizes on 4# test UL spinning rig. A ball to catch! I don't recall getting big yellows this early in the spring. Especially where I usually catch crappie. Anyone else using Roadrunners?

I'm not using Roadrunners but I did get into some very fat, egg laden female perch last week using a 3 inch curly tailed grub. Lots of fun on the light tackle.

No roadrunners, but they are slamming on 1 1/2" and 2" swimbaits, nice fat 1 pounders
