What Has Everyone Been Catching Them On?

Featured Replies

I live in Michigan and I figure you guys are fishing similar conditions as I am. Anyway, what have you guys been catching them on? I really haven't caught quantity, but I definately have caught so hogs. I've mainly been throwin' a Jig, Spinnerbait, or a Crankbait. Most of my damage has been on a crankbait, I caught two 5lbers and a 4 on a sexy sunfish red-eye shad, and today I caught 4 on a spinnerbait including a TOAD 6lber, and on the jig I haven't caught anything over 17".

But what are you catching your fish on? Really the first time I've fished this early in the year so going on my own instincts, I just want some feedback! Thank you!

so you take an a-rig and on the 4 outside wires hand another a-rig on. so now on each one of the four a-rigs you hang a spinnerbait, a lipless crank, a jig, a swimbait, and deep diving crank.... now here it the secret, on the last wire of the first a-rig you put a crappie jig. there is where you catch the most fish. ok... the real answer is lately for me if I don't have a soft plastic on, I'm not getting a bit.

Ahaha! I got a kick out of that one! Thanks for your input though! I'm going out tomorrow I'll let you know how I do! thank you!

Been KILLING them on Hudd's grass minnow slow roll and twitch and hold on!!

If the fish are schooled up, I will catch everyone of them and that has been happening. Just caught my pb, a 7lber in Ny, this was the first time I had seen a bass that big!!!!
