How Are My Setups?

Featured Replies

Abu Vendetta 7' MH-Abu Black Max2-stren 15lb(soft plastic rod)

Daiwa Jupiter 7' MH-Abu Silver Max2-power pro 65lb moss green(topwater rod or convert this to hard lures)

Considering buying this:

Berkley Lightning Shock 7' MH-Abu Pro Max2-not sure on line(Hard lures or convert this over to topwater)

so how are my setups for a beginner?

You might want to get a cranking rod if you don't have one. Cranking rods usually have a moderate action.

Usually if you're asking questions you need to give info, the rods/reels/line is only have of the equation, the other half is what you want to do or what you are doing with them as far as technique and size lure go

Upgrade one of those reels, try a Lews!

I'd get a M action rod for spinners and jerkbaits, 3 different MH rods seems like just getting the same exact rod and putting different line on it, especially if that's all you have.
