well as the title suggest is there a huge noticeable difference in the two lines? the Dobyns Champion series and the savvy series?

reason im asking is because in the past two weeks I broke two rods a veritas and a 735 and i want to get dobyns again i just dont know if it is worth the extra $ to get another champion series or if the savvy is almost as good for the price.

I cant comment on the champion, bit I have 4 of the savvy series, and I think they are great.

to me the savvy is not a 159.00 rod its a good 100 dollar rod thats overpriced

Simply put, yes it is worth it. The Savvy line is a darn good series of rods. Are they overpriced? IMO not really. The reason I like the Champions more besides the better components, are the options. You can get full cork if you want, and a MUCH wider range of choices in rods.

Ya I've been thinking all day and I'm goin with one power less and sticking with champion series if rods I might get a savvy to replace my veritas
