BassHunter and I went out today for a few hours. Floated around in the Coconut Creek area off of the C-14, and caught a fair amount of Snakeheads. The one in the picture was the big one of the day at 8 lbs. Gave my 200E7 a workout today, and Im out of frogs. The E7 mounted on the Sellus rod performed very well, a good match.

I wonder how those bulls eyes fight compared to northern snakeheads we have up here in the Potomac.

Not sure but I know there was one just caught up there that weighed over 18 pounds and nearly 4ft. They don't get that big here!

Did you release it like a nice guy?

Diggy, the only one released was a small one about 12 inches in hopes he will be bass food. The other 5 are fish fry. ;)

Potomac snakeheads fight for a few seconds then it turns to pulling a dead log in.
