Minnows Chasing Larger Grub And Other Swimbaits?

Featured Replies

Not sure what kind of minnows these were, but yesterday I hit up a local neighborhood lake (clear, and swimmable) and noticed that these little fish, minnows? were chasing my swimbaits, all of them were smaller then the grub, storm swimming shad, and 4 inch senko i used. I noticed as i brought the lures closer, a few minnows would try and bite my lures. I never fished this lake before and still new to freshwater fishing, my question is does this mean anything as far as what type of fish this lake may have and how to fish it? because i got skunked yesterday.

Thought it was interesting to see lilttle minnows attack something bigger then itselft. Only wished the bigger ones came out and attacked my lures too!
