Grub Color

Featured Replies

Parents bought a place on the St. Joe river in Michigan. The water visibility is low, I believe the depth is no more than 8 ft, & there are stumps everywhere. I was wondering what would be the color of grub you would use?

On the St. Joe crawfish colors work well as well as bright oranges and chartreuse for the most part, at least in the stretch between Niles and L. Michigan.

For grubs try watermelonseed and pumpkinseed as a base color, haven't really used them in the river, but should work.
