As a family we decided that this summer we were going to do other outdoor activities besides fishing. Blasphemy, I know, but it sounded like a good idea at the time. Mountain biking, hang gliding, Kayaking were just a few of the ideas that we came up with. I will be sharing these adventures with you guys in an effort to prove that you are not dead at age 45.

So on the first vacation of the summer in the middle of a fishing trip to West Point Lake, Callaway Gardens Tree Top tour was a fun diversion.

27 obstacles, 5 zip lines and an hour later we are finally done and back on the ground, exhausted.

It's not fishing, but sure does look like fun! I've always wanted to try going on a zipline.

Nope, it's a private lake. However, I did scope out the outfitter on the property and get a list of boat rental (electric only) rates for next years trip. We will call this a "scouting" trip.
