My Custom Spinnerbaits: Are These Too Bulky?

Featured Replies

I LOVE SPINNERBAITS. Since I started using them, they have been the single most effective lure Ive used.

First off:

I took a 4 bladed willow leaf booyah spinnerbait and started playing with it. Since I finally got my Lumaflex skirts, that was the first think I decided to change. I replaced the original skirt with a while Lumaflex skirt. It was a setup that I would never use they way it was even with the new skirt. I decided to make it a Single blade spinnerbait. I read that single blades can be felt over the rod and how many pros are 50/50 on it. 50% Love the single bladed SB because you can feel everything as it spins and it is true! I like this one a lot. I used a hawg that I cut to just use the tail part. what i dont like about it are those two flaps the hawgs always have. If Im not satisfied(in this case, if the bass is not satisfied) I will cut those flaps off.

the other one has a lumaflex and a superfluke that i cut the tail from to use as a trailer

honestly i dont know, but i know what I'd do.................go fish them where you know there are fish and fish them for a while.the bass will give you a real answer before anyone here does ;)

Looks good to me! I've been meaning to get some lumaflex.
