Fishing Sun Gear

Featured Replies

I think im going to get simms sun gloves, but as for neck/head wear, should i get simms sun gaiter, or Buff angler headwear? any suggestions slash reviews?

I bought SIMMS sun sleeves and gloves last week and used them on a very hot day of guiding. I have to say that I was very impressed. I put the sleeves on and my arms instantly felt a little cooler. I don't know how they do it but that's what happened. The gloves were nice to. Even in 95 degree heat I forgot that both the sleeves and the gloves were on. It was great. I did hear that the gator had a problem staying on if the top of it wasn't perfectly straight. I am keeping my buff for now.

Great to know! If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? I don't have a ton of cash floating around and they seem to be a little pricey, but they seem like a good little investment.

I got them at a local fly shop. The sleeves were 20 and so were the gloves. I think the buff was a little more than that.

I'm just glad you're asking.....Buff has worked for me for gloves and collars both....found in most Fly fishing sections of the larger tackle stores and at $15-$20, a real lifesaving bargain.

Comfort is a very subjective item....I personally find them very comfortable...wet or dry...
