Stopped by Bass Pro after work and picked up two of their home brand poppers for 1.99 a piece. One was the typical shad and the other looked like a baby bass. Both had blood markings around the gills. Looked fairly life like. Only draw back was they didn't have the feathered trailer on the rear hook. I figure I have Fly tying stuff So I can improvise.

Anyone ever use these with success?
