Just want to get some positive thoughts and prayers from all you guys, taking my four year old out tomorrow with any luck we will be having fish for dinner. I will update after tomorrows fiasco.

Good luck man I hope you and your child have fun. I have a 7 day old so I have a few years before I can take him fishing with me, I can't wait for that day.

So we went out today an it was rough. Between the heat an the storm system rolling in we did not catch much, and these are in places that are normally drowning in bluegills. She managed to get 2 (her first two ever) and she had a blast. We were out for about 4 hours and she was still wanted to stay out. Might have a life long fishing buddy.

She even lipped the first one!
