Bass Pro Rod Help Finding

Featured Replies

Last week I was in my Bass Pro and the clerk turned me on to a casting rod by bass pro. I was hoping to find it online and read some reviews about. Looking for a 20-30 dollar rod for my son to use. Wont feel to heart broken if I lose 30 bucks as compared to 100 etc.

Problem is I cant find the rod or remember the name. Its black made by bass pro and in the 30 dollar range. Has a split foam grip and comes in 6' to 7' all powers. I wont be able to hit the store for a week or so. So far he said they were pretty popular in sales.

Thanks

I want to say it started with an E maybe

Basspro offers 2 rods under 50. Neither of which have split grips. Graphite series and tourney special. Both great budget rods. the next one up is the bionic blade which has split grips I believe it is 60 something. Then there is the extreme which is 80. The tourney special, bionic blade and extreme go on sale often.

It may be the Bionic. I didn't think it had any red on the rod. I know it was close to the price of their Graphite series rods. Man this drives ya crazy. Guess I will have to make a special trip out there

Don't buy the Graphite series b/c the eye's come out. They replaced all 3 rods for me. I proactively super glued the eye's in on the new rods and they still blew out. BPS gave me credit for all 3 to buy something different. Reviews on their site all say the same thing. He will do fine with any other series they have. Good luck.

Sounds like Enigma rod. They may or may not even be listed in the catalog, but my local BPS always has a rack of them out by the aisle next to the fishing section.

Every time I go there I see several people walking around with one, sometimes 2 or 3 of them.

never had a problem with mine. Isn't the rating on bps.com 4 stars? Must not happen as much as you think

I have 4 of the BPS graphite series rods and never had a problem with them at all
