Little Help With Fishin Buddy 140C

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Im new to the forum and fairly new to fishing. I bought a Outcast pontoon this summer and recently equipped it with a fishin buddy 140c fish finder. Im a bit confused on reading it though. I watched a few videos but one thing that is unclear to me is how does the sonar image relate to you in your boat. For instance, take a look at this picture, what would this look like on the fish finder? Any crude drawing would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Something like this for the down looking view and a spot in the side sonor view where the fish is. BUT your display will be a lot more pixeliated due to the low screen resolution. You have to be moving to get the shape of the bottom recorded.
