Long time lurker first time poster...love the site, so much good info.

Anyway, I'm in the market for my first bass boat, have owned a handful of small beat up Jons.

Over the past few months I've been asking around and keeping an eye on craigslist.

Have had my eye on the listing below for a while. Was first listed in Early May for 7500 and has now dropped to

4799. Have only seen pictures, but it sounds as though there are only a few cosmetic issues. I fish smaller bodies of water typically so a tracker would be plenty of boat. I would assume the trolling motor would come with but I would ask.

Value everyone's opinions around here so I thought I would run it by you all. Sorry I'm posting from my phone and don't know how to inbed the listing. Thanks in advance

That is a very good price!!! I looked for over the past year and that is by far the best price i have seen on a late model Pt 175. If the boat and motor are sound I would have to jump on it. Figure at least another thousand for cosmetic repairs however. Those seats are not cheap!! Makes me wonder why he has lowered the price that much from the original unless they are desperate for $$$$. Check the floors and transom because that boat has probably been left out in the weather with that kind of damage in that few years.

Tn, I'm with you seems like a solid deal so far. Wasn't planning on buying anything until winter rolled around but a sale is a sale .

I get the feeling these folks probably don't fish and have no use for the boat but they were left with it after a death in the family and just want to get it off their hands.

Going to contact them tomm with a few questions, will keep y'all posted.

Also, need to look into what electronics come standard with this model. Fish finder, etc.
