Has anyone been there lately? If so, how was the fishing, and do you have any tips?

    Was up there last Sunday, but it was kind of slow. Lake is pretty low and with the heat/drought this year.

    We caught about 12 keeper crappie and a couple largemouths and whites.

    This was all while it was cloudy, and when the sun came out the fish stopped biting completely.

    I just got some pretty good reports from some buddies of mine who went there. Said they caught some good catfish and bass. What did you use to catch the crappie? I never catch many of them, but I'd like to.
