i do most of my fishing at night just because thats when i can get out most of the time

i will be on vac for a few weeks and looking for tips on fishing for big mouth bass during the mid day hours?

Ok. Fish prefer to ambush prey from shady areas and the sun is out in the daytime...so instead of fishing mostly frogs and topwater baits as you might do in the evening.....try fishing shady areas like fallen trees and boat docks and under pads and deep in weed beds and around rocky outcroppings...start throwing deeper running baits and bouncing stuff off the bottom. As far as where is concerned...you might try a few of the more well known Cape ponds, Johns Pond, Peter's Pond, Great Herring Pond, Wequaquet, Long Pond in Harwich.............does that help?

Good advice above. I would throw a frog any time of day though. Great anytime summer bait.

Look for cover close to shore with quick access to deeper water. Throw a frog on all pads and matted grass. Drag a big ribbon tail worm along the edge of weeds and drop offs.

Jerk a weightless super fluke across the tops of submerged weed beds.

Structure and cover. Structure and cover. Struc...well, you get the point ; )

I'm having good luck with Senkos (rigged weightless) in and around cover, and over the lilly pads. When you come to an opening in the pads, let the senko fall in and free-fall. Frogs are working too and so are Fat Ika's. Where are you located?

I agree with Mikey. Not just a frog, but don't rule out any kind of topwater. I've seen a lot of topwater fish under bluebird skies.
