Anybody use these much? What do you think of them?

......Bigger the hook the better. I and fish them everywhere you would fish a buzzbait.

They were pretty good, but I prefer the ribbit.  For some reason I got a better hookup ratio with the ribbits.

I prefer other brands of frogs especially the Ribbit. The action on this one is lacking IMO. That said, certain brands may work better for certain applications. The Yum frog for instance has a very thick and heavy body.It can cast a lot farther than most of the other frogs. The heavier body will cause more disturbance in THICK slop whereas a lighter bait won't.Like Tin said the bigger the hook the better and a 5/0 supereline or heavy wire seems to work well.

I really like YUM products but the buzz frog is a bit lacking in action.  If You want a subtle gurgle as you retrieve, it's okay but I like a lot of noise and Rage Toads make it.  The buzz frog is made of a tough material and they last a bit longer.  I run braid and a big Owner twist lock and the hook up ratio with that set up is pretty decent.  Fun bait to fish !!

I'm praying for 55 degree rain brother.

I found that I can't fish the buzzfrog as slowly as a Gambler Toad...but they hold up better.

To be honest, I didn't really care that it had to be fished faster as I was burning them anyways to get a reaction strike and cover water. But if the fish are a bit slow, maybe go with the Gambler.

sorry, I was going to say, I caught lots on the yum frog on a 5/0 hook, works just fine.
