Line Longevity ?'s

How long will line last if kept on the main spool indoors out of sunlight and elements etc?

I am thinking about buying the Yo-Zuri hybrid ultra soft 600 yard spool. I want to use this for my spinning rods but the 600 yards will last several years.

Thanks in advance

No problem. It doesnt go through any degradation just sitting around indoors. Ive had line for years with no problems.

Thanks. I just didn't know if it had a shelf life. Never had line in bulk before lol

The big enemy of mono (and maybe other?) line is sunlight. As long as you keep in a dark place, it will last a long time. I have spools of mono that have been stored in a drawer in my "man cave" for several years with no ill effects.
