Hello all,

I currently have a 7' 1/4-3/4 medium 8-12 fast tip rod(Cabelas Tourney Trail), now Im trying to pick up another rod and 7' 1/4-5/8 medium 6-14 fast tip(Carrot Stix) Can you guys tell me what of these rods are best used for? Ive been using the Cabelas for everything bass.I walk the bank so I dont want to bring a ton of rods with me.Any help would be greatly appreciated

The specs. are very similar on both these rods. You could use them for some top water, crankbaits, and some finesse fishing. I would look at getting something MH that might be better for jigs, t rigs, spinnerbaits and maybe some lipless crankbaits. In my opinion, that and your M Cabela's rod would let you cover a large spectrum of lures if you dont want to carry too many.
