Great Day Fishing.

Featured Replies

Went to the lake where i caught my big one this evening, got out there about 530, fished from one spot and did not move, first cast i caught a dink on a smokin silver super fluke (my favorite bait). Caught 3 more then it died down, my buddy was slaying them on a junebug u-tail with a weight, i switched to that and tied on a smaller hook and weight, first cast let it sink a foot or too, began to reel and i felt her take it, i set the hook and then she got off, keep in mind i was using 14 lb cajun line, and a meadium heavy action carrot stix. It was a big fish for sure, last time i ever use that cajun line, back to the green berkely trilene! I ran out of palm trees but im sure they would be spot on out there. Weather was nice, not to hot not to cold, oh and i forgot to mention were fishing heavy grass with trees above us.

Sound's like a pretty fun day! Great job.
