Bps Im-9

Broke my old BPS Extreme 60 million module rod that I had for years at a client's pond on August 13th. No fish on when it broke. I got snagged and when I set the hook the blank snapped.

I use BPS Extreme rods at ponds and keep the better rods for tournaments and river/lake fishing.

So on my way home I stopped by the BPS north of Richmond and told the staff what happened and they said go and pick out a replacement rod.

The old Extreme I had is no longer in production so I selected the new IM-9 Extreme rod.

First IM-9 I have and I can't wait to take it out on Thursday at my double secret pond with Hookingem to give it a test ride.

Of course I will have to let Hookingem catch more than me to make him feel good before he heads back to school but I bet I could outfish him with one hand behind my back using the new IM-9.

BPS - where customer service is outstanding.

I wouldnt place it on the rod. I know some people who could out fish me with a $20 Shakespeare combo. But Im sure it will make the experience more pleasurable with that bad boy!

Makes me want to break my old BPS Extreme lol.

LgMouth, I will find out on August 16th how the IM-9 feels and performs and let you know.

One of the guys in my bass club buys low priced rods and reels. He can outfish just about anyone using that stuff while some of the guys have to have their Carrot Sticks and high end reels.

Go figure!

Yep, its not the boat or the equipment (to an extent), its the mind!
