mann's baby 1-

Featured Replies

ive never fished crankbaits much b4 but today i picked one up...it seems to be a perfect bait bcuz im fishing shallow banks..i got it in the green shad chart. color i would like to hear yall's opinions on these and if uve ever used the color does it work? thanx :)

The baby 1's are great over grass that hasn't hit the surface yet. I use the -1,-4, and -8. The square bill makes them great for timber as well. As for color, chartruese is a good all around color. Ghost grey is also good.

I fish a lot of really skinny water. Rapala floaters Mann's 1 and 4 are about the only diving baits I use...

I've used the Baby 1- for years and it's an excellent lure. I haven't used the particular color that you mentioned, but I've caught bass on a wide range of colors and I'm sure yours will be OK.

When you complete a retrieve, check the lure before casting again because the hooks frequently get tangled.

The Baby 1- is a great lure for shallow water or over grass!  I use the chrome / black back with the most success.  I recently picked a few of the 4- up on the clearance rack at Wallyworld...  Hope they work as good as the 1-!!!
