Falcon Bucoo Rods?

Featured Replies

I have been looking at these rods at bps for some time now they are extremely light, lighter than carbonlight and they are" MADE IN THE USA". I would like your opinion on these the good and bad and ugly. I mainly fish for bass on Kentucky lake. My thoughts are a 6'10'' medhvy/modfast for spinnerbaits, and 7"med/mod for crankbaits. And 7' hvy/fast for for jigs. This is just example of few setups . I have never used Falcon brand rods. They are the lightest rod ive ever picked up and for $100 ???? I dont know where i can go wrong ? Thats what i wana hear from yall? Can I or can't I ?

Received a 7' MHF from my brother in law this summer. The rod is quite light and I feel is fairly sensitive. I also really liked the micro guides on the rod also. My only negative, and it may just be my exp, but the tip of one that I received snapped after casting a 1/2 ounce jig head. I have never had that happen before to a rod from casting. In the $100 range there are a lot of good poles. If I were you I would compare the Bucoo to the Abu Veritas. I actually prefer the Veritas more than my Bucoo.
