Dick's Da Vinci Code

Featured Replies

I always miss great clearance items b/c the stores don’t stock or label items correctly. I'd loose my eyesight, and mind, trying to read the SKU numbers and then find the corresponding product hanging somewhere. I usually take my 10 favorite items up and just ask them to scan them to tell me what’s on sale. I do it several times lol. This time I asked the guy to come back to the fishing section and bring his wireless scanner. Not only did he but he broke the Dick’s Da Vinci code for me.

  1. Sale items have a red sticker
  2. Clearance items are NOT required to have a red sticker but their price ends in a “.x3” or “.x7” ie $5.33, $3.47, $3.53, $7.47, $6.23,
  3. Its payday if you find a red sticker that ends in 3 or 7.
  4. In the end none of this matters as there are still clearance items hidden at the end of the rainbow. I had a pack of SK Rage Tails in my hand and asked him to scan it for sheets and giggles. Originally $5.79 a pack. They came up…$1.73. I cleaned them out.

Lots of Dicks have an additional 50% off clearance items this week so check it out

Good info here! I'm going to stop by my local Dick's today and try this out now! Thanks man!

Yup iv known the .x3, .x7 deal for some time now but so does some one else at the DSG I frequent but it did land me my Citica last year for $45 when I was walking out with my Citica I had noticed a Revo SX no red tag but ended with .97 and it was during there additional 50% off deal to I begged and pleaded with the boss(wife) in the end I walked out with just the Citica

The dicks I go to is horrible about restocking anything. I've been going at least once a week this whole summer and they have yet to restock hollow body frogs or ANY rage products. On the plus side, they currently have the field and stream rods on sale for $20.

Couple weeks ago found a red sticker on a spinning real for $15. Original price was $49. Went up to pay for it and it was $9. Love it when that happens.

I hate my Dick's, it doesnt even have a fishing section and on top of it their camping section is tiny.
