hey guys. been having a lot of fun fishing for largemouths since i started 2 months ago but im thinking i wanna try and diversify a bit. ive seen a few big trout swimming around in my lake and i could use some tips. what kinds of rigs/baits should i use and what kind of areas should i look to find them in? are they going to be in the same areas as bass? id also like to try for some rockfish (aka striped bass). i used to go with my dad when i was a little kid but its been years and i dont really remember much. just remember that he had 2 hooks on the line and a weight at the bottom and we used peelers (papershell crabs) for bait. any other suggestions for bait? what size hooks and how heavy a weight? also will the rod im using for bass work? i think the rods me and my dad used were a bit more heavy duty. im using a shakespeare ugly stick. medium/heavy action i think with a 10lb line. any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
