When pad fishing which one would be better the solid body or the hallow body?  Now when fishing the slop which one would be better?

 I would  think the horny Toad would be better fished on the outside of pads and slop or can it be fished or on top of the slop,pads?  :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-

Slop Bronz eye frog. Its way easier to work.

Open pads Horny toad.  Not as good in the slop because the hook under the body wont let it lay flat.

I feel just the opposite, I like the horny toads or ribbets in the slop and have had VERY good results with these. The bronze is better in the pads if the pads are very thick, it can be worked slower and paused in the openings. Just my opinion  but either are good baits an love them both.  :)

I'd use both in the pads and don't think one is better than the other, as they are two different lures. I'd use a hollow body when I want to slowly and erratically work a floating lure and a solid body for fishing faster like a buzzbait. As to slop, if it's really solid, I don't know if it matters what lure is used, since they don't see it but sense the motion.

This is a great point and very true.  I have great luck with the H-Toad in pads however, it is important to remember to pause before setting the hook in order to let the fish swallow the bait.

Has anyone had luck fishing a white toad??  I have read that this are supposed to be better in sunny conditions....needless to say I bought a pack.....why not right!!

i bought a white toad and mouse, heard the same thing. Don't have anything to report though, haven't had a chance to use either one

I have awesome luck on the white horney toads, my favorite 2 colors in the horney toads is white and black/with white swirls. I found some junebug colored the other day I'm gonna give them a try i think they will work great as well. Another good color that i don't use enough is the bullfrog color in the Ribbits, I have had Huge blow ups on them but just not as many.
