Settings For Lowrance X-4 Elite

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I just got a lowrance x-4 elite and installed it on my 10 foot plastic pontoon. What should I have my setting at (surface clarity, sensitivity, colorline, ggrayline, frequency, ping speed, chart speed, surface clarity, and noise rejection)? Thanks.

Most of the factory default settings are where you need to be. Keep the sonar in Auto mode, it works great. Run it in 200 kHz. Assuming you are fishing in water < 60 feet, select the Shallow Water fishing mode. I prefer the color "white background with bottom color tracking". Other than that, should run great right out of the box.
