fishing a deep, clear lake this weekend. big front rolling through right before. any ideas? water temp is upper 60s

try a drop shot rig

I fish the same kind of lake in PA. We do well with hard jerk baits for smallmouth under there conditions.

I would start out with the drop shot and tubes. Then switch over to hard & soft jerkbaits. Let the fish tell you what they want. Good Luck!
