Lucky Craft Pointer 125 3 Joint

Featured Replies

Has anyone picked one of these up yet? I have a certain flat in mind that I think these will get bit on next month. How would you fish this bait? On you tube there's a vid where the prostaffer says its made to be straight retrieved, yet it suspends. I've had great sucess throwing the Xrap 14 ( the big saltwater one) on this flat in years past, but it runs just a tad deep.

I'm sure the fish will tell me how they want it, just looking for any insight.

I was just on the Lucky Craft site, and they said to steady wind with a few twitches. You can watch the video, and see the action.

Great looking bait!!

I've bought one already in the Ghost Minnow color, waiting for the ice to leave before I can use it. I plan on fishing it as a swimbait with an occasional pause or twitch, I am anxious to see what it's capable of.

I plan to buy a couple and test them out.

From what I hear they run a bit shallower than the regular pointers though.

Thats exactly why I'm interested. It should fill a niche as alot of similar baits run in the 5' zone. It looks like it'll cast a mile also.

Looking now I probably won't buy it because I have several magic swimmers already, and if I want a better and cheaper jointed bait, I will use the River@sea Vjoint minnow. The action looks pretty much the same as the sebile.
