Featured Replies

Just picked up 4 or 5 packs of the Soft Sebile Swimmer. Actually paid retail like an idiot. Look sweet, Cant get anything to bust throught the ice and grab one though. Let ya know when the Ice melts. In the bath tub they look sweet.

a buddy of mine (Dan) uses them with great success. I'm sure he'll post some tips in a few...

the weights included are kind of brittle so be careful when you're putting them on the hooks. Also, they don't really weight all that much so if you want to fish them deep, just use a regular keel weighted EWG instead. Other than that, they're pretty straightforward. They're good fished on the surface and deeper in the water column.

The look pretty thin between the segments...how do they hold up?

So far I've only had issues with the nose of the bait getting ripped up by a strike or during the fight, similar to how a fluke gets ripped up at the nose and will no longer stay put on the hook. I'm going to try gluing them to see how long that prolongs the life of the bait.

Glue sounds like the only way to with these baits.  I wanted to purchase a few, but at five bucks a pop...ouch.
