I was looking at rods today to put my Revo SX on. I always bring my reel with me to put on the rod to test the feel befpre i purchase. I was loving the way the Crucial felt, but I could not get the reel to sit in the seat. I saw that it wasnt threaded, and i tried to squeeze the reel in with no success. I have it narrowed down between the Crucial, Carrot stix Wild, and Duckett. So my question is, how in the heck do you get the reel in the reel seat of the Crucial?
