hey everyone recently i have been fishing at lake anna with no luck. i drop my boat in at hunters landing. please comment with advice on where to go and what to use thank you.

Anna should be in her winter pattern by now.

Main lake points are going to be where I would start my search this time of year with deep water access, channel ledges, deep rock piles, deep brush piles, ALL are really going to be your best bet this time of year.

The big key to Anna right now is to locate the bait fish, find them and you will find the fish !!!

One area they should still be schooling is the dike 3 area, this time last year you could catch stripers on top water action early in the morning and late in the afternoon.

For LMB I would suggest suspending jerk baits, Spoons work awesome this time of year there, Visit Anna Point Marina and get a Tooth Ache Spoon, see Chris Craft if he is working that day or Dave Fauntleroy, The best strikes come from jig and pig combo's, imo, fish slow and methodical, I can't stress that enough !!!

Remember find the bait fish and you will find the bass !!!!

_{However, fish the main lake points with a Carolina rig and a jig and pig; throw spinnerbaits and lipless and flat sided crankbaits across the points and at the docks and piers.}

_{Flip and pitch a baby brush hog at the docks and piers and any grass you see, dead or alive.}

_{Try Green Pumpkin, Junebug and Cherry Seed for plastics and shad and silver colors for your crankbaits. A white or white/chart skirt for your spinnerbaits.}
