the Fang Jig?

Those jigs look OK.  It isn't a spank brand new idea.  *** sells jigs with a similar set up - both skirted and unskirted.   Critterbaits out of Olathe, Ks. markets jigs with a similar set up - where the trailer in effect becomes the weed guard.

I've seen maybe a dozen other companies who market jigs with similar set ups, while surfing different tackle companies, wouldn't you know I can't remember any more right now.

It comes down to what do you think is a better brush guard - the fiber in front of the hook or the soft plastic trailer.  For me the jury is still out.  I don't know.  I'm sure there are different opinions out there.

I don't like it.  Just me personally, but I like a trailer in the skirt.

Thanks FIT! I looked at the *** store and found his version. He calls it a Multi Jig & rigged it up with everything from a Kut Tail to a Flappin' Hog. I kind of liked the big a** lizard idea actually. I appreciate the tip.

I'm now more interested in hearing from some folks who have used this rig before. I know Dozer has a lot of fans here. To be honest, I like his screw-in keeper much better; but I'd love to hear from anyone who has used this type of set-up.
