Planning a dream trip to Castaic in March. First time ever going there. I am an avid Bass fisherman in AZ, but this is new territory for me.

Any tips or advice for this trophy lake?

It's a "freeway lake" meaning lots of pressure.  Actually there are two lakes, the upper and lower or "Lagoon;" which is better for LM.   The upper has stripers.  Drop shot and split shot finesse, jigs, spooks at first light.
