I'm pretty Successful in creeks but I was just wondering if anyone could share there tips and bait choices that they use

Inline spinners catch anything.  They are light and inexpensive. I keep my plastics small.  

 

4"trick worm and small flukes

1/4 oz jigs (you can use the trick worm for a trailer)

small crankbaits

road runner

booyah pond magic spinner baits

 

I use spinning gear and no heavier than #8 flouro or #15 Power Pro 8s8. Medium power rod.

The creeks around my part hold both spotted and largemouth bass. I pursue them either with a fly rod (usually my TFO 3 wt or 7 wt) or my St. Croix mojo bass wacky rod/Shimano Sahara 2500 setup.

Aside from the usual popping bugs and dry flies, I also pursue the little rascals with UV speed craws, zoom finesse worms, finesse tubes, poppers, pond magic buzzbaits, Zara puppies, pond magic and H&H spinner baits. I have some small bitsy bug jigs for good measure, as well as cranks, but I never use them.

It's a great way to get out and have a good time.

My favorite lures for smallies in small rivers and streams are 3-4" jig and grub in white or silverish, 1/8-1/4 oz spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, and lipless crankbaits.

My local creek holds mostly Smallmouth, but there is a few Largemouth here and there. My favorite baits are a Zara Spook (Baby Bass Color), a 1/4 oz Lunker Lure Buzzbait (White), 4" and 5" stick-worms (Junebug, Watermellon, and Natural Shad), Rebel Humpback (Gold w/ Black Back), Lucky Craft Pointer 78 (Pineapple Shad), and a Zoom UV Speed Craw (Watermellon). Those baits seem to work well for me.
