Handheld Gps + Topo Unit

Featured Replies

  • Super User

I have the Endura Safari. It doesn't use Navionics software like my H2O does. I haven't purchased any mapping for the Endura.

Those units for fishing purposes are only as good as the mapping available for them.

I used to use the H2O a lot before getting all my sonar units with GPS. It also uses the Lowrance lake mapping software.

I have several of the Lowrance Free Enhanced map locations for it.

If you can find a H2O or H2Oc, you will have a better fishing tool,  IMHO

It looks like the handheld market is mostly geared towards terrestrial use.
