Grassy Lake

Featured Replies

Gonna be going to Grassy Lake in Lake Placid FL and will be bringing my rods. Wondering if anyone knows the area and has any info, and if you know of a place that rents boats, or kayaks or something to get on the water? Thanks guys.

I fished it about a 1000 years ago but really cant remember, I smoked a lot of weed back in those days.

The INTERNET is your friend, should say if theres a camp or something there.

I remember it being very clear, but I may have been looking in my cooler.

Never fished Grassy, but have fished Placid, June-In-Winter and Istokpoga. Some of the lakes in that area are very deep. Placid has around a 50 ft depth in the middle, but I don't know Grassy at all. It looks nice, but so do the rest of the lakes in Highlands county!  There is a Triton dealer in town, they also have some tackle as well. Stop in there when you get to town and see if Norm can give you some info.
