Got My Bfl Confirmation As Co-Angler For Okie Trail Today!

Featured Replies

Woot!

Like the title says, just received the email that I am confirmed for my first tourney as a Co-Angler!

BFL Grand Lake on March 9th, right after the pros wear those fish out from the classic hehe This is my first year as a Co-Angler and I am pretty excited to try this out and learn some new things

Time to officially start preparing, Now all i got to do is catch some fish!

Good luck to all my other fellow Co-Anglers hitting the trail as well this year!

Congrats! Have a blast just remember to offer your boater a little help if you can.

Heres the thread i started for my first BFL results

It was tough, fishing out there in short, the ole goose egg found its way into my bag :(

Where did you go to sign up? Was it pretty nerve racking being a co-angler? I have always wanted to fish a tournament, just my schedule always holds me back. I am nervous, as i will be completely new at it and dont want to get on the Boaters nerves/let them down for failing to catch fish. I am very respectful and will help out as much as needed.

FLW's Bass Fishing League and Bassmasters Weekend Series both have weekend trails, go to the sites and you can find the trails near you and what lakes.

They are $100 each event, and I highly rccomend it. My first event was awesome they really make a big deal out of it, only thing missing was I didn't catch a fish to get up on stage :(

The boater was nice, I mean we're not going to be best friends after a day in the water, but I had no problems and I talked to a buddy I go to church with and he co-anglered for 2 years and said all boaters were kind and curtious.

Do it if you can it was a bast! My next one is in two weeks I can't wait!
