Many hardbaits have regular paint jobs, and then have ghost and chrome patterns that are similar.  What conditions do those work best in?

I like Ghost colors in clear water especially on sunny days. I like Chrome in stained water on sunny days as well and will sometimes throw it in clear water under the same conditions if the fish are aggressive because the fish can see it from a long distance.
