Quantum Exo?

Featured Replies

Just looking to get some opinions on the EXO rod and reels from some of you that have used them. I was checking them out at an outdoors show today and like the way they feel but don't want to spend the money if they aren't what they appear to be. Currently I'm throwing Revo's on St. Croix Premiere's and Mojo's and I'm not unhappy with them just keeping my options open.

I dont use St.Croix or Quantum, generally becuase im happy with what i use. Having said that, if you are happy with St.Croix, look into the Avids or up. The avids have a HUGE following and are proven. Why look into another company when u already shop from one of the best rod builders in the business?

Havent used, but looks soo cool!

If you want the Exo reel, Walmart has it for $181 and there's a $30 rebate on it too. I think the look cool but I've only played with them in stores.

The whole 2013 line up of Quantum reels got a make over. Some pretty cool looking feels coming out. I fish Quantums now, & was looking at moving to Revision for my next couple.

You can lose brain cells watching those videos.

unfortunately they seem to be the only ones apart from the Manufacturer vids with all the pros saying...."this is the greatest reel everrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

I am currently considering a Quantum spinning reel for my new rod being built. That and the new Lexa reel from Daiwa.
