What size stinger hook do you guys use on your spinnerbaits and buzzbaits? And what brand do you like?

I use gamakatsu trailer hooks in either 1/0 or 2/0. It depends on the size of the spinnerbait hook. Smaller i go with 1/0, bigger 2/0.  I highly recommend using trailer hooks, all of the fish that I have caught have been on that trailer hook.

Gamakatsu is on local shelves, so I use them in 2/0. Not that I know anything about proper sizes, but 2/0 seems like a good size, not too big and not too small, although I doubt there'd be a problem with one size up or down.

I use trailer hooks on all spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and Chatterbait-style.

I guess I'm the heretic on the whole trailer hook thing, as I never use one. If the Bass are striking short or missing, your retrieve, lure size, or color is off.

I use a 2/0 Gammy all the time.
