Having No Luck...

Featured Replies

Whats up guys...I wrote a post the other day about me helping out with a March of Dimes tournament and that I was going to try to get a few fishing things donated for us to raffle off and if by chance we got some bigger items (rods or reels) we were going to give them to the winners of the tournament. I'm not having any luck at all. If by chance any of you guys have anything you would like to donate (baits, tackle boxes, shirts, hats, rods, reels etc) I would be greatly appreciated. I'm not asking you to go out and buy stuff to send. Just if you have any either new or slightly used stuff laying around that you dont use, we'd be greatly appreciated. I know times are hard, so if you dont have anything to spare, we completely understand. Thanks guys!

Have you tried contacting some PR departments of the various companies out there. I would assume some of them would be willing to donate something for a little advertising and a good cause. If you are working with March of Dimes a letter in their letterhead would go a long way to adding credibility to your tournament.

I second this , it will go a long way with companies. Also in my experience a lot of really big companies , though popular, do not contribute as much as a smaller company. Look into smaller companies they tend to give more. I wish I could help you out, best of luck.
