Brookies are the most beautiful freshwater fish in my mind.

They are beautiful, and fight as hard as any fish I've battled this far.

Nice!  Had a lot of fun this fall/winter catching trout myself.  Gonna go out next Thursday for some Valentines Day trout fishing with my girlfriend.  Kind of like our present to each other.  Im so glad I have a woman that enjoys fishing.

Brookies are beautiful fish. Our Fish and game guys have recently started stocking tiger trout. They are a hybrid brookie/brown. Very cool looking fish that are very aggressive predators. They stock them to thin out populations of stunted brook trout.

Very nice sized brook! I get a month of trout fishing starting Saturday! I can't wait, it helps lessen the cabin fever.
