so i went to carters lake today. what a bust. fish were jumping and barely biting anything. i tried everything. noone was catching anything. went to my gfs house and fished in her pond and caught a 4lb bass and a about 5 more around 2 pounds all within 30 minutes to an hours time. was using a texas rigged zoom PUMPKIN/CHARTREUSE u tale and was tearing them up back after back so easy. ill post up pics if the forum will let me.

Carter's is hard to fish from the bank..

We bummed out at Yahoola too in our tourney. We weighed in 3 fish for 3lbs and took 3rd place. Our fish were caught on a jerkbait and spider jigs.

We caught about 15 fish, but none of them were over 12".. close, but no cigar
