Horrible day today! No fish in the boat 20 mph winds. Really hard day of fishing.

Where did you fish and with what?  Give us some ideas to help guide you towards the fish next time!  Also what water temp did you see, and did you find the bait fish?

I fished the horseshoe first with a 1/2 oz craw red eye rattle trap and a 1/2 oz jig and craw. Got one good bite and broke off on the rocks. Tried fishing the rocks outside of McFarland next but the wind/ current made it nearly impossible. Ended up in the barge canal and found some fish about twenty ft deep, threw some dd cranks and big jigs at them. Extremely stained water and avg temp was about 47 to 48 degrees.
