I saw and article in Bassin' Magazine I believe that showed how you could fish a crankbait somewhat "weedless" by bending in one of the back trebles. Has anyone tried this? If so what were your results? Could you tell any difference in hookup ratios?

I haven't tried it, but cranking over grass and weeds does work, especially lipless cranks when you rip them out of the weeds.
