G. Loomis Gl2 6'8" Medium Owners Have A Few Questions.

I have a friend at work that is trying to sell a G. Loomis rod. It's a 6'8" jig and worm medium xfast. It's a pretty good steal but I'm looking for a good top water rod. However I noticed on TW's site it's listed as being a good rod for lighter top waters.

Has anyone used this rod for top water Popr's wake baits etc?

How would this rod be for hard jerk baits?

It felt like it would load a small bait really well. I would like to get double use as a topwater/jerk bait rod to save on some funds.
