No, the Equalizer is not a professional wrestler.

 

It is a small pnumamtic tube assist system for your trolling motor.

 

This two tube system reduces the pressure by at least half when putting your trolling motor in the water or taking it out.

All Robbie said was to be careful using the assist system until you get used to it or you can throw yourself out of the boat.

You must not have been paying attention to what he was saying.

 

Just the opposite occurs.

 

Not having it, with the weight of the motor, some get off balance when deploying the motor.

The Equalizer removes that chance since the motor is about weightless as you let it down. It you deploy it too slowly, you will have to push it down to latch it.

I was paying attention to what Robbie said.

 

He said, very clearly, to be careful the first few times you pull the trolling motor as it will be much easier than expected.

 

Maybe he meant when deploying the trolling motor.

 

Either way, I will be careful until I get used to using it with the Equalizers attached.
